These were other things that I Have invented and had delayed patents due to cost, and they were my retirement plan, I have insufficient left time for these to be of value to me so they are being made public, therefore can be used, but under patent laws once deliberately published cannot be patented. Feel free to use these designs or simply get an idea of where great ideas come from. The error in most new inventions that have patents applied for is they have no commercial value, if you can sell 10,000 of them, how much is the profit to the manufacturer? not the retailer, and how quickly will they cover the set-up costs? All my designs are from two types of target, in the millions of dollars "profit" per annum or for benefit to mankind. everything else is as useless as a fluffy phone cover, you may sell a few, but it is no retirement fund.
I will give you an example of a well marketed piece of rubbish that really does work, and this is key to the great inventors, as great inventors are usually better at understanding marketing than the worlds best marketing gurus. This is the product. the health or fitness wand. The device can give you a muscle workout and a tan and a massage, so you understand it has pulse for muscle shock as with electric muscle stimulators, it has ultra violet light for the tan, and vibrates, sounds great the home beauty wand. wow what a genius, in fact proof that marketing people are usually just advertising people is that some idiot bought and marketed this product.
What is the flaw? marketing is not advertising, marketing is knowing who will use it and targeting a product to those people, advertising is simply how you go about telling them. The flaw is simple, laziness, they are targeting an audience that is too lazy or does not have enough time to go to a gym, get out in the sun or go to a solarium. now work out how long you have to hold this thing in you hand in one spot to get the same electric pulse as a Velcro model? now work out how long it will take to get a tan moving this over you body? This is not only harder than everything on the market, so it rules out the lazy people, it is time consuming so it rules out the busy people as well. So although it really does work, how many will you sell once people start to work this out? now how much did all the research and testing and moulds and machinery and advertising cost? Sure they will probably break even, due to infomercial style selling, but this is no genius product. So when inventing remember who will buy it, why and how many.

The new plastic Bottle
Several billion empty plastic bottles are moved every day, imagine if you own the patent to all plastic bottles.
There are billions plastic bottles transported every day, such as milk and soft drink and now with bottle water even more every day.
The problem is with this, is that the empty bottles first have to get from the plastic factory to the bottling plant and then be disposed of by recycling bins.
In transport at even thousands on a semi trailer that is still millions of trucks on the road every day to move empty bottles.
I can cut this by one third, that is one third of the amount of trucks on the road each day to move them, this is a massive cost saving and an actual percentage amount of CO2.
If you make a bottle collapsible as i have seen some, when you go to pour out of the bottle it bends, this is because they all collapsed vertically, if you collapse them sideways to the centre with a rigid handle top to bottom in the centre, you would save one third of the space when empty. The technology is simple, same as those flexible drinking straws and many other plastics that open out in the same way. the only addition to a bottling plant is an air injector that pops the bottle fully open before filling. There are also savings in storage space required to keep them until use which is also a high cost. If you have ever tried to cut down a coke bottle for the recycle bin it is very hard to do, this will also help the end user to dispose of the item and less likely to throw it in the rubbish because the recycle bin fills so quickly.
I once contacted Richard Pratt and told him I had a packaging idea worth hundreds of millions a day even at a cent a bottle. he never replied. So this is me giving away an invention worth more than his company Visy is worth. Hell its so good, governments would be obliged to make it law for pollution and recycling. Even at 1 cent per bottle, hundreds of millions of dollars, is more than many countries earn in tax every day.
Unfortunately for Mr Pratt it is now unpatentable.
